This is insect called "Hotaru" in Japanese. We can see it at night. It is very beautiful their light reflect to rice field. There are some kinds of firefly. We can see three kinds, "Himehotaru", "Genjihotaru", "Heikehotaru" in Kumamoto. Genjihotaru is the brightest firefly. Firefly incubate from roe after a month. Then, they grow up in the water by feeding Kawanina. After a nine-month lapse, they land on the ground. And they live in the soil for thirty days. Next they become hupas, and hatch. At last they go out from the soil and flit in the air. However, they can flit only two weeks.
